Sponsor a Swimmer

We will post below a list of swimmers that have set up their own fundraising web page for the 2018 Galway Bay Swim.  If you would like to sponsor a swimmer, please click the link in the column beside the swimmer’s name and it will bring you to their personal fundraising website. Your support is appreciated in helping the swimmers reach their fundraising target.

Note – not all swimmers have set up a fundraising web page so their name may not be listed below. We will add to this list as more swimmers provide us with their fundraising page details. You can sponsor the event (all swimmers) by donating to Cancer Care West.

Our charity partner for the Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim is Cancer Care West. Last year’s swim raised approx €100,000 for Cancer Care West bringing the total raised by swimmers to date to over €600,000. The charity uses these funds to help meet the costs of residential and cancer support services, which are provided free of charge to cancer patients and their families.
